Yes. On 28 August 2026 NBEMS announced that the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination will be conducted three times every year instead of twice, on a computer-based platform.

The immediate consequence is an extra sitting on 31 October 2026 — one that did not exist in anyone's plan for this year. I'm sitting it myself.

The other half of the notice matters just as much and is getting less attention: the FMGE that was scheduled for 9 January 2027 has been moved. NBEMS says it will be rescheduled to a later date in January or February 2027, and that the date will be notified in due course. So if you had built your timetable around 9 January, that date is no longer real — and the new one hasn't been announced.

INI-CET's January 2027 session is listed for 1 November 2026, the day after FMGE, on the AIIMS key dates page — though AIIMS heads that page “tentative”, so treat it as their word and not as settled.

The home page carries the same dates with the days remaining beside them, and the bot will show you a personal countdown if you send it /examdate 2026-10-31.

I sat the same exam and I fell short — 147 out of 300. I could have said nothing and let you assume I'd cleared it. Then this would just be one more account riding on a result to sell you something.

I'd rather be straight with you: I'm preparing alongside you, using the same question bank you are. I know exactly what it costs to stay inside that boundary. And I'd rather pick up where I'm weak than sit and drown in what I could have done.

My first instinct, once I saw the bot actually worked, was to make all of it free.

I changed my mind for a reason I didn't expect: free gets devalued. Something that costs nothing tends to be treated as though it's worth nothing, and it wouldn't have helped anyone the way I intended.

Five a day is also a number you can genuinely absorb. Nearly every FMGE aspirant is already in paid classes, online or offline — five questions with proper explanations is something you can actually finish alongside that, instead of another backlog to feel guilty about.

If you want more, the price is a fraction of what comparable question banks charge. And the free five never expire — no trial, no countdown.

Not really. What I want is for it to pay for itself.

There are real costs — hosting, keeping it running, the hours that go into building it — and I don't think anyone's work should go to waste, mine or yours. The plans exist to cover the bill, not to turn a profit.

I'm nowhere near covering it yet. If that ever changes, the difference goes back into the bank: more questions, more figures, better explanations.

Because I saw what it could do.

I built it while working on another project, and once it worked I realised it could genuinely change how someone prepares. That's not a small thing to walk away from.

My circumstances are my own and I'll keep them there. But as long as the people I love support me in this, I'm glad to keep going — and glad to share it.

Not at all. If you can use Telegram, you can use this.

It's buttons and taps. You never have to type a command if you don't want to — tap, answer, read the explanation, move on.

Two reasons.

No. Your streak, your accuracy by subject and your spaced-repetition schedule all stay exactly where they are.

A paid plan removes the daily limit — it doesn't unlock your own history.

Yes. Some clinical signs are movement, and a paragraph cannot hold movement — you can read that asterixis is “a flapping tremor” ten times and still miss it at the bedside. So a set of questions now uses a short clip of a real sign, with four options and the explanation the moment you answer.

They are on the two 1-month plans. Not paywalling for its own sake: each clip is found, cropped, checked and written up by hand, so there are only so many of them. The free tier is untouched — 5 questions a day, forever.

No. Every plan is a one-time payment and nothing renews on its own. No card mandate is created, so there is nothing to cancel — when the plan ends you simply go back to the free 5 questions a day.
