Ciel Study is one person, one laptop, and a question bank that gets fixed every time somebody reports something wrong. There is no company behind it and no investor waiting to be paid back.

Enough of you have asked whether you can chip in that it seemed rude not to offer a way. So here it is — along with the part most donation pages leave out.

This buys you nothing, and it is meant to stay that way. Not one extra question, not a Grand Test, not a lifted daily limit. Everything free stays free whether you contribute or not — that is the point of it being free. If you want more access, the paid plans are the honest way to get it, and I would rather you spent your money there.

Wrong keys, mangled text and missing figures get found and repaired by hand. The fixes log is the receipt.

Free, and honestly worth more

If you only do one thing on this page, do one of these instead. They improve the product for every person using it, which a small payment does not:

Flag a wrong answer. Use the report button on any question. Every report is read by a human, and the fixes page shows what changed and when.
Tell me what is broken. Mangled text, a missing figure, a question that cannot be answered — /feedback in the bot.
Tell one person who is preparing. That is the entire marketing budget.

The people below found something wrong, fixed something, or paid for a month of the server. Every name here is listed because they said yes — I ask first, and plenty of people prefer not to be named, which is why this list is shorter than the number of people who have helped.

Nobody is listed yet. Several people have already reported wrong keys and mangled text — I have not asked them yet whether they want naming, and I will not add anyone before I do.

The small print, in plain words

Not a charity donation. Ciel Study is a sole proprietorship, not a registered non-profit — there is no 80G certificate and no tax deduction for you.
Not a purchase. You receive no goods, no service and no access. Nothing is owed to you afterwards.
Not a subscription. A single payment. No mandate is created on your card and nothing renews.
Refunds. Because it buys nothing, there is no service to withdraw and nothing to pro-rate — so it is not refundable the way a plan is. That said: if you contributed by mistake, sent more than you meant to, or simply changed your mind, write to me and I will return it. A rule that ignores an obvious mistake is not worth keeping. Paid plans have their own separate refund policy, which this page does not change.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Ciel Study never sees or stores your card details. See the privacy policy for what is stored, and the terms for the rest.
